Regional coverage

FirstNet currently provides secure, community-based electronic communication of clinical and administrative information within a 21-county area. This includes 15 hospitals, more than 600 physicians, and more than 1 million patients.

Through our grant, we are now certified by the state of Texas to serve 37 contiguous counties in East and Northeast Texas, which includes 65 hospitals, more than 2,600 physicians and a population of approximately 1.6 million people. We believe our service will help clinicians deliver higher quality care and better outcomes, while lowering costs. The end result will be improved coordination of healthcare services to area residents.
